Second Helpings volunteers and board of directors extend their sincere thanks for Hampton Lake Tiger Bass Race Charitable Fund’s grant award as a result of their very successful 2019 Tiger Base Race. These funds will support Second Helpings’ Healthy Food Initiative. In 2018 over one million pounds of fresh produce was provided to our 57 agencies. Healthy foods result in healthy minds. Thank you to everyone who made this event a success. We had a great time and John Geisler, our 80 plus-year-old retired truck volunteer, won in his division. Doesn’t he look proud?
