Pearls of Hampton County, a grant program through the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, recently granted funds to support healthy food to Hampton County through the Healthy Food Initiative Program at Second Helpings. Fresh produce and protein are supplied with the help of Dempsey Farms on St. Helena Island and NLAWS Wholesale out of Savannah.
