When you live far from a grocery store, getting food to feed your family can be a challenge. To meet that need, our friends at Evelyn & Arthur are up to good things to benefit Second Helpings’ efforts to feed these families! Donate non-perishable food items at the store during the month of July and receive 20 percent off one regularly priced item of $75 or more. Second Helpings will share the contributed non-perishable food items with the food pantries and soup kitchens located in rural settings, far from a local grocery store.
Our neighbors need peanut butter, canned meats, pasta and sauce, canned vegetables, cereals, mac & cheese, and other nonperishable food items. Evelyn & Arthur is accepting these non-perishables at the store during the entire month of July or will provide at-home pick-up, at your convenience. The store is located on Hilton Head Island at the Village of Wexford on the south end.
