Thank you to the Indigo Run community and the Indigo Run Community Cares organization for a very successful food drive on November 14!
A steady stream of cars arrived at Indigo Hall to drop off bags and boxes of food, along with envelopes containing generous donations. All proceeds will benefit Second Helpings’ “Fill the Need” program and the Central Oak Grove Church food distribution program on Hilton Head Island.
In all, 1,972 pounds of food and $1,700 was collected, providing a very happy Thanksgiving for many.
The community plans to do another food drive in the spring!
