Hunger has a local address. When you give to support Second Helpings, you’re helping to feed friends and neighbors right here in the Lowcountry.
If you have a traditional Individual Retirement Account (IRA), you can make a gift to Second Helpings directly from your IRA. For those over age 72, these gifts may be 100% tax free and can help fulfill your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) requirement, enabling you to join the fight against hunger without increasing your taxable income. Please check with your tax professional.
