Non-Perishable Food Order Completed

Monday’s Super Heros!

Second Helpings’ coordinator North of the Broad, Kelley Eby and our mighty Karen, a Beaufort volunteer: flexed their muscles on Monday when they picked up over 6,000 pounds of food to distribute to local agencies.

Joining them was Hilton Head Island volunteer, Rich Keefner who delivered part of his load to Bluffton Soup Kitchen. All this activity took place at Dempsey Farms, where Dave Dempsey graciously offered his farm for a loading and sorting site. These non-perishable food items were made available through COVID-19 donations. These three are this week’s SUPER HEROS.
