“This is not your typical soup kitchen. This is a place I can eat a meal in peace and with dignity. I come for lunch when I’m in town for work. I travel from northern Beaufort County on a bus and I don’t make a lot of money. By eating lunch here, I can save some money and use it to pay for groceries and rent.”
