We love this island. So do our visitors. That’s why Second Helpings launched the Post-Vacation Food Donation program – to provide residents and guests with the opportunity to help fight hunger and food waste.
Second Helpings volunteers are at the Grayco on Palmetto Bay Road every Saturday morning to collect unopened, nonperishable food to benefit our island neighbors who need it.
We’ve received so many great messages of support – on social media and in person! This year’s program runs through September 30.
