Wexford Plantation sponsored their annual grant award luncheon and Second Helpings was honored to join the many nonprofits that received valuable funding for their programs that depend on local support.
The theme was the intertwining of community and needs and was so beautifully represented by the table decorations. Sitting amongst the many truly friendly donors provided a wonderful opportunity to talk about what the Second Helpings does and enlist their understanding of the mission to rescue food and prevent food waste. We also had the opportunity to network with other agencies and share resources for ongoing programs. What a gracious lunch!
